When it arrives, the i5700 Spica this Android smartphone will come armed with an AMOLED touchscreen. You might be wondering what makes it different from the earlier i7500 phone that Samsung brought to you sometime ago. Samsung will be lifting the wraps off its Android phone as a follower to its entry-level i7500 model. The fact is that the new smartphone will be almost similar to the i7500. The difference, if any would be the presence of a 3.2MP flash-less camera and 100MB of internal memory. We, at this point, wonder why Samsung has made provisions for only 100MB for apps. May be, the phone maker will do something about that just in time for the release.
Other features include the usual ones – Bluetooth, HSPDA and Wi-Fi . The Galaxy Lite will come powered by a 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7200A processor and will also house GPS and FM radio features. With video demos doing the rounds, we believe the official launch may not be far off.
